CODE YOUR DREAM GAME with Rio Grande School Afterschool Activities Educator Mike Young, on Four Saturdays, April 15 - May 6
High scores and extra lives are great, but what if you could design your own game? In this project-based studio class, we'll take a love of games and dive under the hood, unlocking creativity, logic skills, and problem-solving. From 2D platformer to point-and-click adventure, 3D exploration to racing, we'll use Web-based tools—built specifically for kids—to learn how to bring dream games to life.
Previous coding exposure (with Code.org, Scratch, or Tynker, etc.) suggested, but not required.
Appropriate for children in grades 2-6.
Dates: Saturdays, April 15 - May 6
Time: 1 - 4pm
