On behalf of the Rio Grande Parents’ Association (PA), we would like to welcome you to the 2020-21 school year. We are certainly faced with an unusual school year ahead as the Covid-19 pandemic has brought many challenges globally. This year, the PA is working to find opportunities to preserve our traditional activities through innovative ways that capture the spirit of all that makes RGS a unique and special place. While the school rhythm will be different, the bonds that unite us as one school family remain strong, and we are looking forward to reconnecting, in whatever way possible, with returning families, faculty, and staff, and all of our new families.
Our goal of the Rio Grande Parents’ Association is to support teachers through appreciation, organize and sponsor activities to enrich students and provide opportunities and activities to encourage community building amongst the entire RGS community. This year we would like to focus on strong communication and continuous collaboration, as well as fostering a sense of community by implementing fun and successful activities/events throughout the year!
All RGS parents are members of the PA and in the coming weeks, we invite you to reach out to us to find out how you can help us conduct our activities given the new realities of social distancing and limited gatherings.
