Thursdays 3:30-4:30

Origami is the art of paper folding, and its name comes from the Japanese words for folding "ori" and paper "kami." Origami is great for kids' brains because it helps develop hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and mental concentration. In this class for second through sixth graders, Ms. Kirsty will teach students how to fold a new origami project every week. Then she will assist them with folding origami models at their specific ability levels. Students will have the opportunity to make simple and intermediate origami animals, cubes, flowers, ninja stars, and more!
