We learn to execute teamwork and comradery with each other along with knowing in life the only limits are the ones we set in our minds. My goal is to inspire my students to inspire others thru martial art (science) discipline to be the leaders of the community they will one day grow to be, as what was bestowed onto myself when I was a child. Eventually they will pass this torch on to their siblings, peers and the community. Class will consist of calisthenics, Hyung (forms), meditation, Koc bulb (falling principle), self defense, anatomy and physiology, team building and development of the individual soul. Most above all is the importance to understand the responsibly to one's family and country are a warrior (self-discipline) As students advance we will train in traditional self defense tools of Korean descent. My name is Michael Hughes I have trained in martial arts for over 20 years and it has taken me very far in life. I'm from Chicago and I moved out to Santa Fe to pursue my dream of being a Naprapathic Doctor. I currently train on my own but was originally trained in the style Kuk Sool Won which means " Art to defend the nation" and later branched into the United Federation of Martial Science (UFMS).
