Brigid Quinn Seider
Brigid Quinn Seider grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended Desert Montessori and graduated from Santa Fe Prep where she played soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse. She then went on to attend Bates College in Lewiston, Maine where she continued to play soccer and hockey. She graduated from Bates with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Education.
After graduating, Brigid moved to Boston, MA where she served as an AmeriCorps member through United Way for a year. She worked in Lynn, MA with English Language Learners (ELL) one-on-one or in small groups to build comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency skills and social and emotional awareness. Upon completion of her year of AmeriCorps service she worked full time at United Way of Mass Bay (UWMB) on their Development team. She held many different positions but primarily worked on the stewardship team with Major Donors and led the UWMB Community Ambassador program.
Brigid and her husband, Will Seider, visited Santa Fe many times while living on the East Coast and decided they wanted to move back west. In 2022, Brigid accepted a position at Growing Up New Mexico as the Director of Community Philanthropy, so they relocated to Santa Fe. Since moving back, she has worked on the Resource Development team to build out fundraising capacity for both the Annual Campaign and Capital Campaign.
In her free time, Brigid enjoys skiing at Taos, playing soccer with friends, taking a beginner pottery class, and hiking with her husband, their dog, Wally, and brother and sister-in-law Danny and Kristin Quinn, who also live in Santa Fe. Brigid has always been passionate about education and giving back to her home community and is very excited to be joining the RGS family!
