Literacy Support
Madison Brecevich recently relocated to Santa Fe from Houston, where she taught Kindergarten at St. John’s School. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, majoring in Child Development and American Studies, and received her Master’s in Education from Lesley University in 2011.
Over the past decade, Madison has taught children ages 2 through 6 at independent schools in Boston, New York City, and Houston. From 2013 to 2017, she lived in Dublin, Ireland, where her two older children were born.
Madison is especially passionate about early literacy and is currently pursuing her Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) certification through the May Center. She aims to combine this specialized training with her extensive classroom experience to support both neurotypical learners and students with language-based learning differences.
Outside the classroom, Madison enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and exploring Santa Fe with her husband, their three children, and their two dogs.
