Kirstin Mitchell, Second Grade Educator

Second grade is Kirsty’s favorite grade to teach because second graders are so excited about everything!  She studied Art and German at Lake Forest College, and received her master’s degree in Teaching from National-Louis University in Illinois.  A professional artist as well as a teacher, Kirsty spends much of her free time painting, making jewelry, and folding origami.  She also enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, yoga, and Nia.
