I am thrilled to be moving to Santa Fe and joining the Rio Grande School as an associate kindergarten teacher! I received my master’s in elementary education from Trinity University, San Antonio, where I was a student teacher in 2nd grade. While at Trinity University I studied communication and education while also competing on the women’s swim team where I was a co-captain.
After graduation, my fiancé and I moved to Manhattan, New York, where I was an associate teacher in 2nd grade and then a lead kindergarten teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. My fiancé took a new position in Santa Fe and we are so excited to be moving after our wedding in August.
I absolutely love working with children and helping them reach their highest potential. After getting to know each student, I help them learn and grow in a supportive and exciting environment. I feel so lucky to be a part of the Rio Grande School community where I can continue to work with amazing children and teachers. When I am not teaching I love doing anything active. My favorite activities are swimming, biking, and hiking. I am also a voracious reader and I love watching a good movie as well.
I am so excited to be moving to Santa Fe and I can’t wait to get to know you and your children. Have a great summer and see you at the start of the school year!
