Kirstin joined RGS in 2001. Kirstin has been a teacher for more than twenty years. Second grade is her favorite grade to teach because second graders are excited about everything! She studied Art and German at Lake Forest College, and received her master’s degree in Teaching from National-Louis University in Illinois. A professional artist as well as a teacher, Kirstin spends much of her free time painting, making jewelry, and folding origami. She also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, yoga, dancing, golf, and gardening. She and her husband, Kent Timm, have a fifteen-year old son, Ben, who is a former RGS student and a tenth grader at Desert Academy.
