Kirsty has been a teacher for almost thirty years. Second grade is her favorite grade to teach because second graders are excited about everything! She studied Art and German at Lake Forest College, and received her master’s degree in Teaching from National-Louis University in Illinois. A professional artist as well as a teacher, Kirsty spends much of her free time painting, making jewelry, and folding origami. She also enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, yoga, Nia, and gardening. She and her husband, Kent Timm, have a seventeen-year old son, Ben, who is a former RGS student and a senior at Desert Academy.
