Rachel is entering her sixth year at Rio Grande School. She has a Master's of Business Administration in Leadership from the University of Liverpool and an undergraduate degree in Business and Education from Dakota Wesleyan University. She went directly into teaching after college, and after 7 years, moved from the classroom into educational administration doing Admissions and Marketing for Higher Education at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Rachel loves education and wholeheartedly believes the success of our world begins in our early classrooms. 

 

Rachel grew up in Denver, Colorado and has lived in Santa Fe for 18 years. She is married and has three children ages 23, 21, and 16. Rachel enjoys spending time with her two Great Danes, cooking, singing and running and has competed in more than 50 races over the last 15 years, including the Boston Marathon.
